It’s our fault

Mom and Pop stores have closed because people stopped shopping there in favor of the big chains.

We can reverse this by shopping with the Mom and Pop stores that are still out there, which will in turn encourage more small businesses to pop up around them.

We get the type of stores that we shop at. Big or small, they cannot survive without our money.

Stop Chasing The Money

This video spotlights an independent business owner with a good message. And I agree that to be a successful small business owner, you need to find a nice balance between your vision, profits, and customer satisfaction—something large companies struggle with.

But I have to say, I also found it interesting that the sponsor of this video was Walmart. A company that has crushed many small businesses in the areas it has moved into.
