The Rapture
They were wrong. The Rapture did not come with the lifting of good people into the heavens without death. It came when good people, seeing evil on the rise, refused to give birth.
This, in turn, left those remaining to suffer through the tribulation years. During this time, evil people continued to multiply in great numbers, creating a hell on earth that resulted in a massive die-off.
Those who survived had hidden themselves in the most inhospitable corners of the earth where few dared to venture. And it was from those places that a new beginning emerged, as good people once again gave birth to—and raised—good people.
