Daily blog: It’s January 18, the third Monday of the month; Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
In his 1963 speech, he said, “I have a dream that little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
And yet, here we are in 2021, and all races are being judged by that very thing.
It would seem racism is only wrong when it is pointed at you. And the media is all too happy to use it as a ratings booster.
There is no need for color description in most news stories.
I have a dream, as well. In it, everyone listens to MLK’s words. So that we can all live in a nation where people are not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I don’t know about you, but my family, friends, and co-workers don’t have a skin color tag when I refer to them, nor do I when they refer to me.
Good point : my dad taught me to judge a man by his word not by how he looks, or how much money he has, nor by the clothes he wares. But by his words and his actions.
He told me that if a man’s word is no good, then neither is he. This man is two faced, double tongued, untrustworthy, and evil and should not be associated with, have no dealings with him, for you are known by the company you keep.

As we; you and me have done our duty, placed our lives in harm’s way, defending the weak, and securing our homes from those who wish to control. Given the neccessary trades to do the job at hand, and now they fear you, you are on their list. Yes you who was once praised for your commitment and loyalty to your country and GOD. Are nor the objects of fear and hatred.
Who am I speaking of: you, Army, Marine, Navy, Airforce, you: Sherriff, City Officer, FBI, CIA, NSA. We the former employees of the USA, Firemen, Teachers, Store Owners, Pastors, all who stand in the way of enslavement, loss of freedom. The right to protect you family, hunt to provide food. For all to become followers instead of leaders.
